Petition Objective: We, the undersigned residents of Wolli Creek, formally petition Bayside Council to allocate funding and resources to establish a multi-purpose local community hall to serve our high-density neighborhood.

Statement of Concern:
The suburb of Wolli Creek has evolved into one of the most high-density residential hubs in the Bayside Local Government Area. While thousands of apartments have been constructed, the civic and social infrastructure required to support a thriving neighborhood has been neglected.
Our suburb critically lacks an accessible, flexible indoor civic space. Residents have no local venue to host neighborhood meetings, cultural events, or community-led initiatives. Furthermore, this lack of infrastructure heavily impacts our large population of young families raising children in apartment buildings. Without private backyards, these families desperately need a walkable, weather-proof indoor hall for children's activities, playgroups, and parental support networks. This absence of a shared civic hub leaves both individuals and families socially isolated within apartment towers.

Action Requested from Council:
We urge Bayside Council to utilize developer contributions and future budget planning to:
Secure a physical, indoor commercial or public hall within Wolli Creek for community use.
Establish a flexible, multi-purpose facility managed for the benefit of all local resident groups, cultural associations, and family programs.
