MBD or Metabolic Bone Disease is a condition in reptiles that causes a loss of bone mass, and in many reptiles creates issues with mobility, and much more. Through proper husbandry (lighting, temperatures, and diet) it can be reversed if caught early. The best way to get the word out is through education and spreading awareness; which is exactly what making this a national day would do!
