Here's the problem: a literal Cow Town university has a mascot of a ... horse? The purely empirical disproportion of Cows to horses on campus is enough to bring this motion forward and come together to make a change. Imagine the amount if appreciation all the Cows would feel coming from a loving community of UCD students. When you visit the UC Davis student store, even all the merchandise has freaking Cows on it. It must be a Cow. We are Cow town people and we will not be misrepresented by the wrong animal. A Cow as a mascot would bring more unity to our community and give our beloved Cow residents a strong feeling of inclusion and belonging. Go Cows! ... doesn't that sound pretty cool?
