This petition is for Capcom to replace  Lily Gao in the Re4 Remake.  The issue is her voice acting is not up to par with the rest of the cast. We are asking to bring back the actress that voiced her before.  Jolene Anderson was the perfect actress to voice Ada Wong and she did not get a call back from Capcom. Such a shame as this would  have saved all the controversy surrounding Ada Wong in the Re4 Remake.  Jolene Anderson is preferred to voice her and there should have been some type of consistency with the cast. This isn’t a race issue or a sexist issue.   It’s a Voice Acting issue and Lily Gao has no ability to voice a beloved character like Ada Wong.  She has stated she was harassed but all in all it is her deflecting from the criticism that she wasn’t as good as the rest of the cast. She did not emphasize any emotion to the character and her performance was monotone, flat, and overall not good.  Lily Gao then proceeds to bash other voice actresses that have voiced Ada before and basically says that we need to stop sexualizing Asian Women.  This never was an issue before and it’s her deflecting and making it her own personal agenda to not deal with the criticism she has been given.  We are asking Capcom to make things right and have the consistency with their voice actors like they do with their Japanese cast.  There was no reason to recast and having Lily Gao Voice take over was a big miscasting.  We as fans are asking to bring back Jolene Anderson and make it right with her as she should have been the one to Voice her like she did in the Re2 Remake.  Politics and race should never be an issue in gaming. Lily Gao is making this a smear campaign and blaming others for the way she sounded.  It has absolutely nothing to do with that but her Voice acting ability and the way she voiced her character.  I repeat this one final time It’s her Voice Acting ability is the reason why people were upset.  Not her race.  Make it right Capcom and bring back Jolene Anderson so the controversy can end once and for all.  Let her reprise her role like it should have been done in the first place.
