Back in 2007 the community voted to change our form of government from a council / manager to a mayor / council. 

When people voted for the mayor, they had to look at the qualifications of the individual because “The Mayor” was the leader of the city, a full-time working position and the mayor was compensated for such. 

In 2018/19 Mayor Dingler hired Scott Anderson as the City Administrator to assist her.

Since her death he has pretty much taken over and done the responsibilities of a city manager Jon Martin had just been the figure head.

Scott cannot be City Administrator and manage the positions of what was two other people. 

Jon Martin cannot just decide to take on a job as a full-time mayor and then up the pay. 

If Jon Martin wants a pay raise, he needs to get rid of the city administrator and take on the job full time and take the responsibility of Mayor like Crystal did before hiring Scott.

The Mayor's salary increase needs to be repealed and put to a vote of the citizens.
