As a under 16 i and many others could agree the social media shouldn’t have a ban. Social media helps the youth of Australia stay connected with their friends and express themselves in different ways. Instead of banning it, we should teach kids how to use it in a safely and responsible manner. Banning social media could affect young people by making them feel isolated and miss out on important chances to learn and grow. With the right guidance from parents and schools, social media can be a good thing for young citizens instead of a negative one. It isn’t just about chatting, for example when most people our age has a problem we go to YouTube or TikTok and watch tutorials. Snapchat and Instagram helps us connect with our peers to share interest and helps us feel connected to the community. Some days we may not have the time to hangout but want to chat and call online. Roblox is a platform where you can play with friends and grow learning skill to control and create games which falls under the category Robotics. It has no ads like other social medias and texting in Roblox can be turned off in settings. Kids just want to have a free childhood and have fun playing games online because that’s what most kids do in our generation. Roblox was specifically made for young people to become creative.
