Repeal age verification law in Utah!

Repeal age verification law in Utah!
The Issue
The first thing that the age verification law has taken from us, is our ability to access adult content however, that is not the only thing that the age verification law is going to take from us. Beginning on 1 March, 2024, Utah will also require that social media companies verify the age of social media users and block users who don't provide it. This poses great risk for identity theft, because most social media platforms do not have great security of user data. This law is not going to stop people from using social media, but this law will increase the risk of identity theft for all social media users.
This law also states that social media users under the age of 18 will have to obtain the consent of a parent or guardian as well as users under the age of 18, will be unable to access any social media platform between the times of 10:30 PM and 6:30 AM.
Currently there are easy ways to go about this, such as downloading a VPN blocker and changing your location so that it doesn’t appear that you are in the state of Utah but what happens if this becomes a federal law?
If we let Utah get away with imposing this law upon us then who knows how far it could go…
