The Duquoin State Fairgrounds is, and always has been an integral part of Southern Illinois.  And with the recent revival of Street Machine Nationals, more and more people (and cars) from across the Nation are excited about visiting The Fairgrounds.  

     Currently there are main and side roads throughout the fairgrounds that are only covered with gravel.  Gravel is great for some situations and can seem cost effective.  However, overall it ends up taking more maintenance than other methods of paving and is not suitable for Car Shows such as Street Machine Nationals.
