On behalf of the residents of Narregudem and the adjoining localities, I wish to bring to your kind attention the pressing need for immediate repair of the road construction work on Narreguda Road, particularly the 2-kilometer stretch from Narregudem towards Beeramguda, Ameenpur, Sangareddy (Ward No.16). This stretch has deteriorated drastically, plagued with potholes, uneven surfaces, and severe waterlogging during the monsoon, rendering it unsafe and inconvenient for daily commuters.

Narreguda Road serves as a critical conduit for residents of Ameenpur and Miyapur in Telangana, connecting homes, schools, and workplaces. The daily lives of thousands depend on this road. The deteriorating condition not only poses a serious safety hazard but also leads to frequent traffic congestions and vehicle damages, causing both time and financial loss to the commuters.

Despite several representations and complaints made to local authorities, no substantial progress has been witnessed. The urgency for the repair can no longer be delayed. During monsoons, the road becomes almost untraversable, exposing commuters to accidents and putting children, cyclists and pedestrians at great risk.

A permanent fix is essential, focusing on resurfacing to eliminate potholes, improving drainage to prevent waterlogging, and ensuring regular maintenance to safeguard the road’s condition. Such actions will not only improve commuter safety but also enhance the overall standard of living in our community.

Immediate action will show the authorities' commitment to prioritizing citizens’ needs and improving urban infrastructure. We urge the local government and the relevant municipal bodies to take swift action in addressing this issue, thus providing a safer and more efficient commuting experience.
