Tim Ryan continues to do voters a disservice by refusing to publicly debate his opponent, Chris DePizzo.

There is a very intense congressional race in Ohio's 13th District. Congressman Tim Ryan (D) is trying to defend his seat from Youngstown Native, Chris DePizzo (R). Chris has gained support from constituents all over the district and the one consistent thing they all want to see is debates between Mr. DePizzo and Mr. Ryan.

In June, DePizzo's campaign sent requests to Tim Ryan's office asking for debates, town halls, forums, etc. This would allow the voters in Ohio's 13th district to be informed on both candidates. After the debates were requested, Tim Ryan's office said "there always is and there always should be" debates. However, it is now October, and Tim Ryan has still refused to respond to those debate requests.

This petition is to show Rep. Tim Ryan that the people want to see debates between him and Chris DePizzo. The voters should not be left in the dark due to the fact that one of the candidates is refusing to debate. The local media needs to hold him accountable and schedule debates.
