Reopen Tucson High Magnet High School Bathrooms

Reopen Tucson High Magnet High School Bathrooms
The Issue
We, the students of Tucson High, are petitioning for the immediate reopening of all restrooms on campus. Currently, only one bathroom is open at a time, causing long lines that often extend out the door. This not only wastes valuable class time but also creates unnecessary stress and discomfort for students who are unable to access a restroom when needed.
The current situation is particularly concerning for students' health and safety, as holding it in for extended periods is harmful and can lead to serious medical issues such as UTI’s and in severe cases kidney infections. In addition, the long wait times for restrooms are a disruption to the learning environment, leaving students with less time to focus on their education.
Reopening all restrooms would ensure students have timely access to necessary facilities, reduce wait times, and improve the overall well-being of our school community. We urge the administration to take immediate action to address this issue and restore access to all bathrooms.
