In the recent past The Red Lion Inn, Llanasa, has been the heart of the village and a place for both the local community and visitors to enjoy.  A beautiful, listed building, “The Red”, as it’s affectionately known, used to be lively and popular with a wide reputation for a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere as well as great food and drink.

The owner, Star Pubs & Bars, closed The Red Lion in 2019 and now, with no apparent desire to reopen it and no care being taken of it, the pub has fallen into disrepair and become an eyesore within the village.  With flaking and discoloured paintwork, rotting timber, a failing roof and weeds in abundance, the building is deteriorating and we no longer have a place in Llanasa where people can meet, chat, eat and drink with friends old and new.

Please sign our petition to persuade Star Pubs & Bars, to take positive action and commit to restoring The Red Lion to its former glory so that we can, once again, have a pub to enjoy and be proud of.
