I have been going to this Starbucks since I was 8 years old. This special place in Fox Point, WI is not only where we gather to study or get work done, it truly is our second home. The bond we have with all the employees is remarkable; they remember our orders and names, and each visit brings light into our day. Knowing how much it impacts me personally, I can only imagine the positive impact it has on our whole community.

Our local Starbucks is more than just a café. It’s where friendships bloom over a cup of coffee, family traditions continue with weekend visits, and where even our local weatherman stops by. The news of its imminent closure this Sunday has left our community in disbelief. We have no other local cafés or coffee shops that offer the same safe and welcoming environment.

Closing this Starbucks means losing a crucial community hub. For students, it's a quiet place to study; for professionals, a space to meet and collaborate; and for families, a cozy corner to create memories. Local businesses depend on the foot traffic it brings to the area, impacting our local economy.
