Hello all reading this, 

Today, September 21st 2026, me and all of the other campers who have attended St. Vincent collage’s challenge camp got the terrible news that our camp will be closing permanently due to cost challenges. This was devastating news, especially because many of us do not have the opportunity to see each other again, if at all, we have all made so many meaningful connections and had so many wonderful experiences together. This camp supported us in so many ways, and accepted anyone who walked onto the campus. Even thought it is a  catholic college, it was a safe space for all members of all classes, religions, and communities, especially the large amount of lgbtq+ campers that felt safe there. The camp is a very important space and I am asking you to donate to our cause to reopen the camp. I am not an expert on petitions, I am not even an adult. I am a 13 year old camper who misses the camp and I care about it deeply, I employ you to donate even a dollar to support some kids and their camp.
