I have got some sad news! We learned that one of the Code Lyoko writers has passed away and here's what the creator of Thomas Romain had to say about his loved one courtesy of his twitter account:
"We had developed the Code Lyoko project together in 2001. I have just learned with great sadness that my friend Carlo de Boutin has left us. In addition to being a great person, Carlo was a talented writer. I miss the words. The Code Lyoko project had been initiated by Tania Palumbo and myself as we were just out of animation school. Carlo who came from the cinema had brought us his experience as a screenwriter. He has worked extensively with director Jan Kounen."
Because of this devasting loss, we need to have our new and original writers attention to not only watching the original series but to also honor Carlo de Boutin as a tribute. So, please start spreading some love and keep sharing the petition without spamming at the same time so that Thomas Romain can appreciate our dedication. Our fantastic writer and person who made the Code Lyoko story that would never be the same without him will be miss. Thank you.
