Shawn Alderman, was a teacher and basketball coach at Tigard high school for twenty-five years. Alderman had a tremendous impact on the Tigard community and basketball community. You could not think of Tigard high school athletics or high school basketball without thinking of Alderman. Unfortunately Alderman passed away recently and in his memory we want to name the Tigard High school gym/basketball court after him for everyone to remember him and for future generations to understand his impact.
