The recent allegations and upcoming trial against Trammel Crow Jr. for sex trafficking have painted a dark shadow on the family name. The public park, named "Trammel Crow Park", after his father, serves as a daily reminder of scandal and turbulence rather than as a space for peace, joy and community. We believe such spaces must be reflective of people who are worthy of respect and admiration. As such, it would be in the best interest of our community to rename the park. With these allegations the significance of the Crow family name no longer aligns with the purpose that such public places serve.
