Rename the CTA Fullerton Station to "Fullerton-DePaul"

Rename the CTA Fullerton Station to "Fullerton-DePaul"
The Issue
If you've ever taken a CTA train, you may have noticed that some stations include the names of Chicago landmarks, like the city's universities:
🔴Loyola (Loyola University Chicago)
🟢35th-Bronzeville-IIT (Illinois Institute of Technology)
🔵UIC-Halsted (University of Illinois at Chicago)
Yet despite this trend, Fullerton Station (🔴🟣🟤) fails to recognize the institution it directly serves: DePaul University.
Founded in 1898, DePaul University is the nation's largest Catholic university and home to over 20,000 students across 10 colleges and schools. DePaul follows the teachings of its namesake, St. Vincent de Paul, who lived in the spirit of justice, service, and community engagement. These values encompass the Vincentian mission and shape the core identity of DePaul University.
Every school day, hundreds, if not thousands of DePaul students and faculty rely on the CTA to commute between DePaul's Lincoln Park and Loop campuses—and no place sees more Blue Demon foot traffic than Fullerton Station.
Fullerton Station squeezes through DePaul's Centennial Hall on its west side and the DePaul Art Museum on its east side. At its north end is an administrative building for many of DePaul's Liberal Arts and Social Sciences departments, and at its south end is DePaul's Wish Field. From the view of St. Vincent's mural at Wish Field to the campus cityscape, Fullerton Station is undoubtedly embedded within the heart of DePaul University.
By renaming Fullerton to "Fullerton-DePaul", the CTA would be properly acknowledging the thousands of DePaul community members who have depended on public transit—not just as commuters, but as individuals dedicated to furthering their education and promoting the Vincentian mission.
If you are a student, alumnus, instructor, or member of the DePaul community in any way, you are invited to sign this petition and share it with others. Thank you for your support! ❤️💙🖤
