I am, like many others across the globe, a true beer lover. Beer is not just a beverage to me - it's a symbol of unity, camaraderie and the simple pleasures of life. It is from this shared sentiment of appreciation for beer that I propose the renaming of the months September, October, November, and December to Septembeer, Octobeer, Novembeer, and Decembeer respectively.

Beer has a significant social and economic impact worldwide. According to a report by The Brewers Association, the beer industry in the U.S. alone contributed $328 billion to the national economy and provided nearly 2.1 million jobs in 2017. In established beer-drinking nations like Germany, the economic output is impressive, with the beer industry accounting for over 57 billion euros generated in 2016 (German Brewers Association).

The suggested names provide an opportunity not only to honor this globally cherished drink but also to bring a sense of fun and uniqueness to our calendar. A simple, lighthearted change like this could bring a smile to millions of beer lovers around the world each time they glance at a date.

Our name-changing proposal is not without precedent. There have been numerous successful petitions for change in nomenclature in the past, demonstrating that such proposals can indeed be considered and ratified.

So, for the love of beer, for unity, cheer, and a bit of harmless fun, I urge all beer-lovers to put their support behind this renaming proposal. Please sign this petition, let's make the lovely ending months of the year truly cheers-worthy!
