Like so many airports around the world, the local Birmingham Airport in Alabama was renamed after a local legend - civil rights leader Rev. Shuttleworth. As I understand it, this has had no negative impact on development.
It's confusing to me, therefore, why Birmingham Airport UK CEO Nick Barton would insist that changing the name 'Birmingham Airport' would have a negative impact on development.
Meanwhile, back home - the Ozzy throne has arrived at the Birmingham Museum. This is expected to attract thousands more visitors to the city and the museum. You can read more here.
