Remove Wade Marketing Job Post from LinkedIn

Remove Wade Marketing Job Post from LinkedIn
The Issue
I am writing this petition to express my deep concern and irritation regarding the inflated job post by Wade Marketing on LinkedIn. As a professional in the marketing industry, I have personally experienced the negative consequences of their immoral and unethical practices and believe it is crucial to take action against them.
First and foremost, they practice unethical job posting methods daily. Wade Marketing post hundreds of roles a day, in the morning, only to remove those job postings and then POST THEM AGAIN the next day. Feel free to check todays (September 20, 2023) fresh batch of posts from Wade Marketing all ranging from 3-7 hours again (12:15 pm EST) |
My personal story begins when I came across a job posting by Wade Marketing on LinkedIn. Intrigued by the opportunity, I decided to research further before applying. To my dismay, I discovered numerous reports and testimonials from individuals who had fallen victim to their deceptive tactics. I decided to apply to the job only to discover that their business model is called "job stacking". This means that they essentially send out your resume and applications to however many hundred job postings (mostly junk) and try to get you hired at multiple companies. Once you have reached the max amount of work you can do yourself (Usually 1 job is more than enough) they want you to pay them to outsource the work for the other jobs to places like the Phillipines where god knows who, is doing the work and you just put your name on it. Yes, this is a true story, not a joke. They ALSO take a percentage of your salary from the jobs they bring in as well as request thousands of dollars as a "deposit". The discrepancies of what this price is have been all over the place. The reddit community has confirmed the range to be anywhere from $5,000 to $12,000. Many that sadly paid these prices before discovering the flawed business model report that after they request a refund and to leave the program, Wade Marketing ghosts them with no refund in sight.

Wade Marketing has been monopolizing marketing job posts on various platforms, including LinkedIn. They post thousands if not hundreds of thousands of marketing jobs across the country with buzzword titles like "Social Media Manager" " Digital Marketing" . They lure unsuspecting applicants with promises of lucrative positions and career growth opportunities. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes evident that they are nothing more than a borderline scam. What they are doing is legal, but at what cost to aspiring marketers who are giving this company their life savings only to not receive a job when they were gauranteed 5+ in the span of a few months. Below you can see the exact email I received stating that they could offer me a certain amount of work for a discounted price BUT, only for 1 day.
The Email-
"Also I talked to Zach and we feel like we can actually offer you a 2 job guarantee for the $7,900.
This price is good through today, otherwise it goes up to the contract price of 10k.
(unless you want to put down a deposit to hold your price)."
Here are some relevant facts that support the urgent need for action:
1. Multiple reports of fraudulent activities: Several individuals have come forward sharing their experiences with Wade Marketing's unethical practices. These reports highlight instances where applicants were misled about job requirements, compensation packages, and even company legitimacy.
2. Negative online reviews: Numerous online platforms contain negative reviews from former employees or victims of Wade Marketing's scams. These reviews shed light on their manipulative recruitment methods and failure to deliver on promised opportunities.
3. Red flags in their recruitment process: Applicants who have interacted with Wade Marketing during interviews or hiring processes have reported suspicious behavior such as pressuring candidates into signing contracts without providing adequate information or time for consideration.
4. Lack of transparency: Despite claiming to be a reputable marketing firm, there is limited information available about Wade Marketing's clients, success stories, or even basic company details like physical address or contact information – all red flags indicating potential fraudulent activity.
It is essential that we take immediate action against companies like Wade Marketing who exploit professionals seeking employment opportunities in good faith while tarnishing the reputation of the marketing industry as a whole.
By signing this petition, we urge LinkedIn to remove the job post by Wade Marketing and implement stricter measures to prevent scams and fraudulent activities from being promoted on their platform. Together, we can protect job seekers from falling victim to deceptive practices and ensure a fair and transparent job market.
Let us stand united against Wade Marketing's harmful actions and demand that they be held accountable for their unethical behavior. Sign this petition today to make a difference in the lives of countless professionals seeking legitimate career opportunities in the marketing industry.
