I am a member of the Cohoes High School community, and I have personally experienced significant inconvenience due to the use of the Synergy app. This application has made grades harder to interpret and teachers less easily accessible, causing unnecessary stress for students and parents alike.

The Synergy app was introduced with the intention of improving communication between teachers, students, and parents. However, it has proven to be more of a hindrance than a help. The interface is not user-friendly; grades are displayed in a confusing manner that makes it difficult for students to understand their academic standing. Furthermore, instead of facilitating better communication with teachers as intended, it has actually made them less accessible.

This issue is not unique to our school - similar complaints have been raised by many other districts using that application (as seen in App Store reviews)  We believe that there are alternative apps available that can serve our needs better without causing these issues. (Such a going back to Schoolagy, A much better accepted app with greatly less issues.) 

We urge Cohoes High School administration to reconsider its decision and remove the Synergy app from use in our school system. It's time we prioritize clear communication over confusing technology. Please sign this petition if you agree!
