At the training for Freshman orientation, current RHHS students were informed that the principal has added a new Dress Code rule: students are no longer permitted to show their midriff, aka their stomach. This rule is extremely wrong in the fact that it targets students who dress more feminine, specifically our female student population. Not only were the students upset to hear this, some teachers are upset as well. This means that both students and teachers disagree with this new rule. Help us take down this both archaic and sexist rule. The results of this petition will be brought to Mr. Fote, and if that does not succeed, it will be brought to the Rocky Hill Board of Education.
