I am writing this petition as I am deeply concerned along with majority of the citizens of Birmingham over the actions of our city council board. The very officials the citizens entrusted with their own votes, and to whom we have granted the power to make decisions on our behalf, have repeatedly turned their backs on the community they pledged to serve.

Recently, there have been disconcerting developments surrounding data centers and other projects that appear not only to be questionable but possibly illegal. Throughout these decision-making processes, the voices of Birmingham citizens have been systematically silenced and suppressed. These actions are not only undemocratic but undermine the very foundation of trust between the council and the people.

This is not an isolated incident. A plethora of decisions have seen our electors prioritizing corporate interests over the wellbeing and desires of the populace. These elected officials have made backdoor deals that run contrary to the community's needs and wishes, threatening the integrity of Birmingham's future.

Furthermore, the lack of transparency in these matters raises serious concerns about accountability. A city council should embody the principles of open governance, community engagement, and ethical leadership. When these principles are compromised, the people suffer.

It's time we take a stand. The current board members have shown that they cannot be trusted to act in the best interest of Birmingham. The course of action is clear: we must call for the removal of the entire Birmingham City Council board to restore faith in our city's governance and to safeguard our community's future.
