Due to the tragic loss a few weekends ago, Miami PD & Key Biscayne PD have decided to finally step up.  They have placed temporary "Barriers" along the bike path in Key Biscayne.  These "barriers" are extremely dangerous and cause us cyclist to feel very unsafe riding in a group or even alone at a high speed.  They make it difficult to pass slower cyclist and are extremely unsafe.  Our goal is to get these barriers removed ASAP.  As you might know, a couple cyclist have already fallen due to these unsafe "barriers", and many more have came close to falling.  We want a safe place to train, and we acknowledge the temporary solution MDPD & KBPD have made. But they made this solution without hearing the voices of cyclist.  I've created this petition in hopes enough of us sign it so we can turn it into the Mayor and remove this temporary "solution".  We would like to work with the Mayor in creating a SAFE solution for us cyclist to be able to go out everyday with no worries of crashing and train on the beautiful island Key Biscayne.
