Ever since the creation of the NFA (National Firearm Act) the sale and use of suppressors (aka Silencers) has been regulated. Suppressors are rarely used in shootings but very often used in sports and police/military work. These people use suppressors to assist in controlling and handling firearms, while also slightly dampening the sound of the gun. With current regulations, acquiring suppressors for safety is a lengthy and costly process.

Suppressors make firearms safer for the people shooting them and others who may witness them. If suppressors can be implemented into American society as they are in European society we can make shooting sports safer and more enjoyable for everyone, without risking hearing loss.

Seeing as suppressors were originally added to the NFA for no apparent reason (quite literally) it only makes sense to have them removed. The safety aspect of these tools should be used legally and not criminalized. Thank you for reading, I hope everyone can understand!
