We, the undersigned members of the Franklin Pierce School District community, are calling for a change in leadership. Superintendent Lance Goodpaster's management of district resources and response to the community's concerns has been ineffective. It is clear to us, as stakeholders in this district, that strong leadership is defined by transparency, accountability, and a genuine willingness to engage with students, parents, teachers, and all community members.

Under Goodpaster's tenure, we've witnessed a steady decline in our district's performance. Concerns are continuously ignored, and there is a lack of clear communication from the office on issues critical to our schools’ progress. Parents entrust the district with their children’s education believing they will receive high-quality learning experiences, yet the outcomes tell a different story.

Furthermore, the mismanagement of resources has resulted in ill-equipped classrooms, overworked staff, and demoralized students. These conditions are unacceptable, and the future of our children depends on our schools being led by someone who values feedback and collaboration.

We need leadership that prioritizes the district's needs above all else, a superintendent who is committed not only to improvement and excellence but also to representing all voices within our community. The change in leadership is necessary to provide our students with the quality education they deserve.
