Remove Starbucks for the Students of Liberty University

Remove Starbucks for the Students of Liberty University
The Issue
The House of Delegates passed a bill last Tuesday to get rid of the DeMoss Starbucks on campus. This acts as a first step towards making a stand against companies that support abortion on campus. Also, Starbucks' mission statement says that they make sure everything they do is "through the lens of humanity"; not through the lens of a Christian worldview. There is no place for Starbucks on Liberty's campus. Let's show SGA how many students agree with this bill.
This bill does represent the student body, as all members of SGA are current undergraduate students at Liberty. Many of you may not know that the final vote on this bill in the House was 62-60, so clearly the student body was represented fairly in this vote as it only passed by a two vote margin. In addition to this, "SGA" as a whole did not approve the legislation; it only passed in the House of Delegates and still must be voted on by the Senate.
There is no attempt by SGA to conceal information from the rest of the student body at Liberty. This is a misrepresentation of the House's decision to vote on this bill. This bill was never hidden; it has been available online ever since it was introduced. If you would like to find out more information about this particular bill and upcoming legislation to be voted on, please visit the House of Delegates webpage on Liberty's website: https://www.liberty.edu/students/sga/house-of-delegates/
