We, the residents and concerned citizens of Wayne County, Mississippi, demand the immediate removal of Sheriff Jerry Mosley.

Sheriff Mosley has failed in his duty to serve and protect our community. Under his leadership:

Violent crimes and shootings continue to rise in Wayne County.
The disappearance of John Gandy on January 8, 2025, has not been properly investigated, despite repeated community tips and requests for action.
Credible leads, including community calls to investigate key locations, have been ignored.
Public trust in his office has been completely eroded.

The people of Wayne County deserve a Sheriff who will put justice, safety, and accountability first. Sheriff Mosley has shown he cannot or will not do so.

Our Demand:

We call upon the Wayne County Board of Supervisors, the Mississippi Attorney General, and the Governor of Mississippi to remove Sheriff Jerry Mosley from office immediately and replace him with leadership that will prioritize community safety, transparency, and justice for all.
