The issue

Pauline Hanson has continuously promoted hate, racism, and division in Australia. Her rhetoric and actions contribute nothing but harm to our multicultural society. I am personally and deeply affected by her actions as they threaten the very fabric of our inclusive community. Her presence in the Senate undermines the values of acceptance and equality that Australians hold dear.

Senator Hanson's inflammatory comments and policies target minority groups, leading to social unrest and promoting xenophobia. This behaviour is not only unacceptable but dangerous, serving only to heighten tensions among Australians. According to the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC), reports of racism have been on the rise, with many pointing to political rhetoric as a contributing factor.

In recent speeches, she has continued to call for policies that are not only discriminatory but also regressive, turning back the clock on years of progress in racial equality. For example, her ongoing campaign against immigration misrepresents statistics and breeds unnecessary fear. The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) highlights that immigrants contribute significantly to Australia’s economic and cultural strength.

Senator Hanson has also sort to weaken our gun laws over many years.

Pauline Hanson has been found to have engaged in racial discrimination in a Federal Court ruling. In a landmark decision in November 2024, the court ruled that her social media post directed at fellow Senator Mehreen Faruqi breached section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975.

For Australians to take the laws seriously, it must start with people at the root cause, weather parliamentarians or public.

Removing Senator Hanson from Parliament is crucial in promoting a more unified Australia. It is imperative for our leaders to reflect the diversity and acceptance that our nation exemplifies. We urge the parliamentary authorities to take decisive action in expelling her permanently from the Senate. This move will send a strong message that hate and division will not be tolerated at any level of government.

Pauline Hansons position in the Senate is untenable.  We call on the AEC to disband the One Nation Party.

Let us come together to make a stand against racism and uphold the values of equality and inclusion. Please sign this petition to urge Parliament to remove Pauline Hanson for the betterment of our nation.
