As a concerned citizen and someone who comes from a family of dedicated educators, I am deeply troubled by the actions of Ryan Walters, the current state superintendent of education in Oklahoma. It is with great urgency that I call on Oklahoma’s Congress to remove him from office immediately.

My mother, who has been teaching math for an incredible 45 years, has retired twice but returned to the classroom because she loves her students and the art of teaching. At 67 years old, she continues to inspire young minds with her passion for mathematics. However, under Ryan Walters' leadership, my family's dedication and countless other educators' efforts are being undermined and destroyed.

Walters' behavior towards teachers and staff members is nothing short of bullying. He fails to recognize their hard work and sacrifices while creating an environment that fosters fear rather than growth. This toxic atmosphere not only affects morale but also hampers the quality of education our children receive.

The state of education in Oklahoma is already struggling; we cannot afford to allow someone like Ryan Walters to further deteriorate it. Our students deserve better opportunities for success, not an educational system plagued by incompetence and intimidation.

It is crucial that we support this petition with accurate facts and statistics regarding the impact Ryan Walters has had on teachers and students alike:

1. Educators reported experiencing bullying behavior from Superintendent Walters.
2. Teacher retention rates have plummeted under his leadership.

3. He has gone on an unnecessary rampage attacking Tulsa Public Schools.
