After many years of using Outlook to reserve rooms in LEEP, the school of engineering has decided to use their new and "improved" KU Engineering connector app to serve that purpose. However, this service is poorly designed and minimally functional. The website is completely non-functional, and the app is extremely confusing at best if it even works. Student organizations that need reserved rooms to hold weekly meetings are left scrambling. Whoever made this change did so with no input from the student body. Reserving rooms on Outlook has always worked, to the point where Outlook calendars are widely used in the engineering industry. This petition and the students that sign it call on the school of engineering to either move back to Outlook reservations or quickly fix the connector app. Some functionality needs to be restored.
