Femicide is real and it is happening on Twitter. There are active accounts that are doing serious damage to the social media platform. These are men that gang rape and torture a young woman on a verified public account.  This means anyone can be exposed to degrading, sexually violent torture films.  After reporting the site (and others like it) and having nothing done about it, I petitioned the "Twitter Safety" Lead by the name of Ella Irwin to no avail.

Trigger Warning: Depictions of Extreme Sexual Abuse

There are accounts lurking on facebook that promote extreme abuse of women through the form of extremely degrading and racist text accompanying a video in which a young woman is viciously sexually assalted.

A site like Twitter is one of the largest social networks in the world. Attracting millions of people daily to interact and share stories and content.  There are so much wonderful societies, many academic and artistic discussions and many things a young person can grow and develop with.The age limit of Twitter is 13 years old. 

That means a 13 year old child can sign up and have an account that interacts with other accounts on the site. Free to explore, they can see the wild wonders of the west and east, north and south co-mingling.  The problem becomes pretty apparent if you have used Twitter, that some rather objectionable material, content and prespectives.  Many are "influencers" who train young men and boys to be predators, misogynists and human traffickers.

If you sign this petition you will help these women who are assaulted weekly and the videos of their abuse is shown live to millions. You will also be sparing all the men, women, young women girls and boys from having to deal with the traumatization that occurs when a serial sexual assault is witnessed.

They treat these women like they treat animals in a slaughterhouse. Violent contempt. Viscious criminal intent to harm these women beyond their means of recovery. Femicide is real and it is happening on Twitter.

One such account, calls itself "Facial Abuse,"

 

Women being tortured publicly on videos that children can watch easily. These women are choked, slapped, strangled.  Forced to vomit into a dog bowl and told to drink it.  Racist and sexist slurs and taunts are hurled at them while the men sexually batter the woman, kicking her and standing on her head.  These videos are open to the public.  And these are just the trailer.  If you pay for the membership, you get to see the more extreme abuse they inflict upon these women.  These are the murder scenes that destroy her entire physical, mental, emotional and sexual self.  This is degrading propaganda to sexualize violence.

 

This promotes a culture of abuse and misogyny towards women.  Children are at risk of finding these videos and being harmed.  This is child abuse and child endangerment.  Why would twitter go against their own terms and promote such hateful, violent and destructive content?  We are not sure what happens to the women after the video but we do know that sexual assault severely damages a person and can cause death, ptsd, and strokes in the days and weeks after the abuse.

Every week a certain account sexually assaults a new woman publicly.  She is forced to endure violence at the hands of pornographers who hate women.  This is a hate movement and the propaganda is women being assaulted within inches of their life.  Many reports have been made but Twitter is protecting these violent accounts that are provable dangerous to everyone on the site. 

Join us in saying no to Public Violent Sexual Assault.  This should be a no brainer.  Either you are ok with rape videos on Twitter or you are not.
