This petition is in regards to the probation that has been placed on Lakeshore Athletic Association. LSAA was placed on probation due to an altercation that happen with a football player on the LSAA midget team during the 2010 football season. As a result of this altercation, the greater pop warner league of Jacksonville placed LSAA on probation, prohibiting all football teams, and cheerleading teams at Lakeshore from participating in any championship games, competition. This punishment is not fair to the children we have at our park now. The player and or players that was on the team involved in the altercation will no longer be at LSAA, why should the current players we have now pay for the wrong actions of pass players. We, the parents and volunteers of Lakeshore are asking that you reconsider this type of probation, and withdraw the probation from LSAA.
