This petition is born out of a personal incident that occurred in Belchertown, MA. My friend, Dylan Potter, was denied service at Dunkin' Donuts by an employee named Nick Merullo. Dylan was famished and looking forward to his meal when he was unjustly refused service.
This incident is not just about Dylan; it's about the principle of fair treatment to all customers regardless of circumstances. It's important to remember that businesses have a responsibility to provide equal and fair services to all their patrons. The refusal of service without valid reason goes against this principle.
Belchertown is a small community where everyone should feel welcome and treated fairly in local businesses like Dunkin’ Donuts. As per the U.S Census Bureau 2019 data, our town has around 3,000 households with an average family size of 2.96 persons who could potentially face similar treatment at this establishment.
We are calling on the management team at Dunkin’ Donuts to take appropriate action against Nick Merullo for his unjust behavior towards customers. We believe that such actions will send a clear message about the company’s stance on customer service ethics and fairness.
