On numerous occasions, Mrs. Perez has exhibited a lack of interest in the well-being of students. She seems more invested in herself than in the needs of the students she is supposed to serve. Instead of being available to address students' struggles and offer guidance, she is frequently absent during crucial times, leaving students without the support they desperately require. Additionally, there are grave concerns regarding her integrity as she has been known to distort situations and provide misleading information to parents for no apparent reason. Such actions not only disrupt students' academic focus but also create unnecessary tension and strain in their personal lives. A school counselor should be a pillar of trust and understanding. They should foster an environment where students feel safe to seek guidance without fear of judgment or neglect. Unfortunately, Mrs. Perez's behavior undermines this trust and hampers the supportive atmosphere that students need to thrive. It is imperative to address this issue promptly to ensure that students at Santa Ana Valley High School receive the appropriate support they deserve. Mrs. Perez’s removal would make way for a counselor who is genuinely committed to the well-being and success of students.
