We are concerned residents of Prince William County, VA, USA and we believe that our current superintendent, LaTanya D. McDade is not serving the best interests of our students or community. Despite her role, she appears to lack a deep understanding of our county's unique needs and policies. Additionally, there are concerns about her commitment to student mental health - a critical issue given that 1 in 6 U.S. youth aged 6-17 experience a mental health disorder each year (National Alliance on Mental Illness). It is vital for the person in this position to prioritize the well-being and development of students over personal interests.

We call upon the relevant authorities to reconsider Ms. McDade's position as superintendent due to these concerns raised by members of our community. We urge you to replace her with someone who has a strong connection with Prince William County and who will prioritize student welfare above all else.
