I am a parent of a student within the San Diego Unified School District. I was shocked to discover that Lallia Allalli, who holds significant roles in various organizations advocating for diversity and inclusion in our community, has made antisemitic posts on social media. This is not only deeply offensive but also contradicts the values she is supposed to uphold in her position as Chairperson for DELAC SDUSD.

This sends a dangerous message to our children - that such behavior can be overlooked and even rewarded with positions of influence. This situation calls into question her ability to fairly represent all students and families within our district. It is essential that those leading our educational institutions embody respect, tolerance, and inclusivity.

Lallia has every right to oppose war, but it is inexcusable to make antisemitic posts that use a religious symbol as a weapon. Using the Star of David, a symbol of Jewish people everywhere, as a weapon to cut off the heads of babies can only be intended to do one thing - incite anger and hate for Jews. The post also equates Jewish people with the devil by saying "The devil is killing". 

We urge you to take immediate action by removing Lallia Allalli from her position as Chairperson for DELAC SDUSD. Our children deserve leaders who truly stand for diversity and inclusion without prejudice or bias.
