The Issue
On January 15 2026, former Boys 2 Planet contestant Kim Sihwan was announced as a member of IST Entertainment’s upcoming boy group 'TUNEXX'. Despite allegations of sexual harassment and bullying surfacing as early as June 2025, IST Entertainment has failed to properly address or fully debunk them. The company allowed Sihwan to compete on Boys 2 Planet and only briefly commented after his elimination. Their statement merely denied the existence of a school violence committee and a school transfer, while vaguely stating that Sihwan was “deeply reflecting on his immature behavior in middle and high school" without specifying what actions he was reflecting on or issuing any apology.
We therefore request that IST Entertainment removes Kim Sihwan from TUNEXX to ensure a safe and successful debut for the other members.
