We, the community of Wilton Grove Public School, are seeking the removal of Kevin Gordon as Principal. We petition for someone who is competent in fulfilling the duties of principal while fostering a safe and healthy learning environment for all staff and students. Someone who will uphold and encourage community traditions and values while maintaining the confidence of parents, guardians and community members through an open, respectful and transparent school setting.

The community is tired of being ignored and marginalized. Tired of the constant erosion of our social customs. Tired of closed school policies. Tired of the absence of leadership and vague correspondence. Tired of the blatant disregard of school / board policies and procedures. Tired of seeing our kids go without school traditions like a graduation dance / party or Christmas concerts and the removal of Santa from the school. Tired of the division created by not including all students in school events. Tired of the total neglect of community and disrespect he instills in the school. We look forward to the return of a safe and inclusive school for all students with our traditions and celebrations.  We grow as a people by learning and embracing each other's cultures and beliefs, not by removing or diminishing those beliefs that are present. We grow through community and by respecting each other's values and maintaining those values and traditions in our schools.

An administrator that is willing to cooperate with, and seek input from families and the community in the design of school improvement and learning initiatives is paramount in providing a stable and healthy environment for student mental wellness and academic achievement.
