Kerry Whitfield has shown repeated disregard for her students health and well-being. Her common activities include eating miscellaneous meals with the school cop, calling her unconventional students hippies, druggies, and addicts; and she has a habit of not being on campus for about two days at any random given time. 

She has been known to search students belongings not only without parental consent, but while bags are sitting unattended. Multipule students have taken videos and pictures of Kerry searching through multiple students backpacks, and then claiming she was only trying to figure out the “owner” of the backpacks. One particular student has a clear video of Kerry quickly walking away from a pair of backpacks she was caught looking though, and when confronted she first lies, and states she did not go through the backpacks. But then claims she only wanted to discover their owners. She did not say why. 

She suspended a student and used the choice words “you guys are just druggies”, when talking to the student and her mother.

In one situation, She began a search of a students belongings and continued to hint at the fact that there must be more than one substance present. She promptly grabbed a Narcan kit before “searching” the students belongings. She missed multiple pockets in the backpack, bags inside the backpack, and did not look through multiple pencil bags of the students. She squished clearly unopened, brand new, packages of baby wipes, and broke a zipper on one of the students bags. The school cop and Kerry then continued allow the student to miss 5 hours of the school day without telling the student they were suspended, serving the paper notification of suspension 10 minutes before 3pm. The student had been in the office since 11:15. All that was found in the search was a fully empty thc cartridge. This student has no prior record, no absences, and has never caused a problem before. The student was supposed to be suspended for 5 days, and Kerry decided the students “investigation was not finished”, so she opted for another day. The student returned 7 school days after the initial incident after much debate If the student would be allowed to be allowed to attend school at all. She claimed the student was guilty of criminal offenses, but simply got told she was “wrong” about the student, and then got to move on. This student received no help with their missed assignments, was not apologized to for the missed time, and was not assured anything, let along given any information about this aside from what’s listed. The student was completely withheld from their educational rights (granted the student also has Straight As) because of Kerry.

Kerry shows obvious favoritism with the students she chooses to bother with her accusations. She pulls in friends of students and tells them to “give up their friends names” in exchange for lesser punishments.

Kerry Whitfield doesn’t listen to students who tell her they do not feel safe. She does not communicate with any students that don’t come directly to her. She barely makes time for students that do take the time out of their classes to come her. She shows lack of regard for work ethic by spending school hours with the school cop. They have various meals at miscellaneous times and locations. She has a habit of not showing up to work at random increments of time.

Kerry Whitfield has shown complete disregard for her students health, well-being, time, trust, and efforts. After only being the Vice Principal at Mariposa County High School for less than two school years, her amount of suspensions without benefit, outweigh any good she could have seemingly done.
