Judge Gerard Lavelle's blatant misuse of judicial discretion in Division XI of the New Mexico 2nd Judicial District Court has caused irrevocable damage to children and families in New Mexico. His biased decisions have led to unjust outcomes that harm those he is supposed to protect. In the last election alone, 73,136 New Mexicans voted no to reelect Judge Lavelle, to remove him from power due to his unethical practices.

I have personally fought for my daughter for 4 years while Judge Lavelle has tirelessly allowed false accusations and attacks on my mental health, profession, livelihood, education, relationships, and as a mother. Experts, custody evaluations, parenting coordinators, facts and evidence have never deterred Judge Lavelle from his constant beratement against my character. Judge Lavelle has cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars, my child’s & family’s emotional health, and severe intentional harm.
