As a proud Californian, it is heart-wrenching to witness the current state of affairs in my home state under Governor Gavin Newsom's leadership. The cities that symbolize our state's vibrancy, like Los Angeles, are now scenes of chaos and violence. What some term as protests have descended into violent acts against innocent residents, federal agents, and police officers who are simply trying to do their jobs and uphold the law. It is shocking and embarrassing to be associated with such unrest, and more terrifying to see no concrete action from our elected officials.

Governor Newsom's apparent apathy toward the escalating violence in California not only undermines the safety of Californians but also questions his capacity to lead. Countless lives are being put at risk every day while the governor remains inactive, failing to address the issue head-on. Innocent lives are on the line, and yet, no tangible measures are adopted for safeguarding the people. The urgency to remove him from office stems from a need—a demand for immediate and decisive action against what has become not just a disturbance, but an alarming threat to public safety.
