Teachers can log into the GoGuardian app and can instantly see our tabs close any of them at any time, and even look at our browsing history without us even knowing. Some kids don't have the money actually to buy computers, so they have to use the school computer for everything. And again, if they don't feel comfortable sharing that information with a teacher, the teacher can STILL SEE THAT! Isn't that outrageous? This is an invasion of privacy for all. We need to ensure that this application is removed and never seen on our Chromebooks again because this is the worst change we have ever seen. Make sure to sign if you agree with us. When you are home teachers can even see your camera roll. I agree that students should not be looking up "bad" things but not everything should be on display. For example, imagine you have your camera open on accident and you walk into your room with just a towel with GoGardian the teacher can screenshot and share it very easily. GoGuardian also tracks the location of your chromebook which is a clear breach of the law. This is essentially putting a tracker on your shoelace.
