A previously known actor before his career was impacted in 2009 when he was cancelled for breaking his girlfriend's nose.

Out of anger and spite, the communities within The Hadestown community do not want this man in the show, as he’s a convicted abuser and should not be allowed back onto a stage where he plays an implied abuser. The community of fans of Hadestown questions why the casting directors would ever allow a convicted abuser back, which is questionable and very non-tasteful.

There were many better choices for the role of “Hades,”

And we believe Kaden could play an amazing Hades, as he is not an abuser and has a strong, beautiful voice suited to Hades. He is also a very strong-willed, kind soul who would never come close to becoming someone like “Gary Dourdan.”

Additionally, Gary Dourdan cannot sing for the life of him, while Kaden Graham can sing very well and with emotion

Aswell as Kaden Has had experience with this role and has been practising endlessly behind the scenes as this role in which he is playing a teen version of currently and has dedicated his life to and loves and truly enjoys this role as he is soon to debut in his role in May of 2026 in Hadestown Teen Edition.
