In recent times, I have witnessed with growing concern the troubling state of our community's financial management under the leadership of City Manager Frankie Dakin in Millington, TN. As a resident deeply invested in the welfare of our town, it is disheartening to observe the detrimental effects of this mismanagement. The most alarming consequence has been the unfortunate necessity for layoffs, impacting hardworking individuals and families who contribute to the vibrancy and functioning of our community.

The need to remove Frankie Dakin from his position is not born out of personal vendetta, but rather a pressing urgency to safeguard the financial stability and prosperity of Millington. Transparency in financial decisions and responsible fiscal management are essential pillars for any thriving city, and it has become apparent that these standards are not being upheld. Reports have surfaced indicating serious discrepancies in budget allocations, leading to unnecessary financial strain.

Under Mr. Dakin's tenure, we have seen resources misallocated, a lack of proactive planning, and often, silence in response to public inquiries concerning budget deficits and expenditure justifications.
