Remove factories from the Citarum River

As someone who deeply cares about the environment, witnessing this devastation is gut-wrenching. It's unbearable to see animal homes shattered and an ecosystem on the brink of collapse due to relentless industrial activities.
The Citarum River, once an emblem of Indonesia’s lush biodiversity, now stands as a glaring example of environmental negligence. The river couldn’t have changed overnight—factories that set up along its banks release hazardous chemicals directly into the waters, decimating its wildlife and making it one of the world's most polluted rivers.
The time to act is now. We must urge the government and concerned agencies to enforce stricter regulations on industrial waste disposal. Specifically, all factories in proximity to the Citarum River should be removed to prevent further environmental degradation. Moreover, the government needs to initiate a full-scale cleanup operation of the Citarum River, focusing on detoxification and rehabilitation to restore the river's ecosystem.
