Save Enetai was alerted that the City of Bremerton, doesn't like getting emails directed to them as decision makers. As usual they are claiming they have no authority over whether Enetai is in the UGA and misdirects readers to a general COUNTY comp plan email instead to make comments. As with the sewer line extension, they do not take any responsibility for green lighting a subdivision - they claim City is just a simple "utility provider." In both instances, they are passing the buck on to the county as the responsible party. The CITY does have a say in whether to keep Enetai in the UGA! They can advocate to the COUNTY to take ENETAI out. We have documented emails between the City and the County Planners speaking to this and other elected officials in the know who support our position. Don't let them "pass the buck". Please take the time to send out emails letting them know how you feel. Let the County Commissioners know too. Thank you.
