Detective Sergeant Kat Moriarty is wholesale abusing women in Greater Manchester who are victims of police misfeasance and violence. She is an investigator within Greater Manchester Police Professional Standards Directorate (Complaints Dept) and is proactively covering up the abuse of women in Greater Manchester by GMP.

Kat Moriarty is an Ambassador for the Community Interest Company (CIC) Girls Out Loud after initially starting as a Big Sister in 2019.  Girls Out Loud's mission is: "To empower and inspire teenage girls in the UK and beyond to have confidence, self belief, emotional resilience and a positive self image which, in turn, supports them to think big, embrace risk and reach for the stars."

DS Kat Moriarty is using this charity to bolster her career but also to present an entirely misleading version of herself and to launder her workplace abuse of women who are victims of GMP male officer abuse and misfeasance. 

It is wrong that DS Kat Moriarty is placing herself as an advocate for young girls and women or is allowed to occupy any position in any charity or organisation that advocates for women and girls, when she is contributing to the abuse of women and the distress that women experience when they are victims of police abuse and violence.

I'm a victim of police abuse. I have been targetted as an activist speaking out about police abuse of women who report male violence. I have been repeatedly maliciously arrested and beaten up by male GMP officers. DS Kat Moriarty was charged to investigate these malicious arrests and assaults but has failed to do so, and is covering up the abuse. Her attitude has been disgraceful and she has shown herself to be entirely without calibre, professionalism or concern for the complaints placed to her.

I believe that any female police officer who presents herself as an advocate for women and girls, whilst covering up the abuse of women by police, has no place in any organisation advocating for girls or women. It is now time for Girls Out Loud to remove Kat Moriarty from their CIC and to cease show-casing Kat Moriarty as a champion for girls and women.
