Shocking New Revelations About Ayinde Rudolph’s Credit Card Fraud
This week, new revelations have emerged detailing how Ayinde Rudolph spent hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on luxury hotels, lavish resort vacations, fine dining, travel, golf courses, cigars, Apple technology, home Internet/TV services, and more—all to fund his luxurious personal lifestyle.
We are outraged, disgusted, and appalled.
It is now undeniable: our School Board has failed in their singular duty to oversee the financial management of their one and only employee: the Superintendent.
This is a failure of epic proportions—and it must not go unaddressed.
Of all the people most responsible for this debacle, none is more culpable than Trustee President Devon Conley.
Instead of fulfilling her oath to serve the community, Devon chose to be blindly loyal to Rudolph. She repeated and defended his lies and distortions, shielded him from criticism and scrutiny, and rubber stamped every bogus contract he put forth without question. She granted him early contract renewals, generous raises, and a $1.6M low interest home loan. She handed him unchecked authority to sign six-figure contracts, and expanded his travel privileges.
And when the true extent of Rudolph's crimes began to come to light, Devon Conley engineered a "golden parachute" resignation agreement for him, complete with a $98K severance payment, and bulletproof legal protection against any future claims.
Throughout this entire fiasco, Trustee Conley belittled, ignored, or gaslit parents who dared to speak up or ask questions about Rudolph’s actions.
Devon Conley has utterly failed this community.
We cannot allow this level of irresponsibility and corruption to go unchecked.
We must demand that Devon Conley resign from the Board—immediately.
We are calling on you, our community supporters, to take two actions.
- Email the trustees and to Superintendent Skelly, and demand that Devon Conley resign her position from the Board immediately. (Please customize the email with specific details of your disappointment.)
(email addresses: trustees@mvwsd.org, kskelly@mvwsd.org) - Join the MVWSD Board Meeting Thursday evening, 11/21/2024, either in-person (preferred) or on Zoom, and make a public comment during agenda item VIII. COMMUNITY COMMENT.
If you can join the meeting (either in-person or on Zoom), please join at 6 PM. We expect the COMMUNITY COMMENT period will occur sometime between 6 and 7 PM. If you are on Zoom, please pay attention to the agenda and be prepared to "raise your hand" on Zoom right when they announce the Community Comment agenda item. (Conley usually only gives you a few second window to raise your hand on Zoom)
You do not need to prepare a long statement; comments should be 1 minute or less. In your statement, please consider asking for Conley to resign from the board.
A strong in-person showing of parents is powerful, so please come in person if you can. (However attending/commenting on Zoom is the next best option.)
Thank you for your continued commitment to demanding accountability for our schools, our teachers, and most importantly, our children’s future.
